ACE Hotel

Cerami was chosen to provide acoustical, audiovisual, IT, and security consulting services for ACE Hotel’s location in Downtown Brooklyn at 30 Bond Street. The new 13-story hotel development consists of 288 keys, conference spaces, and restaurant and retail facilities. Our team surveyed the existing site to measure the prevailing noise levels within and around the site, and liaised with the local authorities to establish building code requirements. Cerami developed architectural acoustical design criteria to ensure a comfortable and private stay for all hotel guests.

Cerami’s team also did the audiovisual fit-out for the new hotel. This fit-out consisted of a building-wide distributed audio system for “House” music to all public areas and a high-quality sound system with temporary DJ input location in the Bar Hall. It also includes high-definition projection and wall mounted display technology with multiple localized input systems for a large divisible event space and meeting rooms, an audio presentation and speech reinforcement system, digital signage, and assistance with an in room “On Screen” entertainment system.

Our team conducted interviews with the project team and client to establish the nature and extent of the IT infrastructure standards. Additionally, we developed security requirements that will address an Access Control and Alarm Monitoring System, a Video Surveillance System, an Intrusion Detection System, Security Desks/Rooms, and infrastructure requirements.

Signature Solution: Cerami’s technology team combined Internet Access, point-of-sale, entertainment, and access control networks for a seamless and unified guest experience.
