As acoustically sensitive spaces, both radio and TV studios require careful coordination of the various disciplines to avoid designing in potential problems. Exterior noise can be a big issue, especially near busy roads or railways. The layout within the building is also important: while studios and control rooms need to be adjacent, equipment and HVAC systems should be remote.
