IT/AV Report: What are the advantages for the end-user enterprise of implementing a cloud-based AV solution and how will cloud-based solutions impact commercial AV ecosystem over the next few years?

M.E.: Cloud based computing platforms can provide reduced hardware and system maintenance costs, improved redundancy and remote access for users and administrators. Server-based conferencing, content sharing and remove access for users and administrators. Server-based conferencing, content sharing and remote desktop systems allow end users to treat AV-equipped spaces as extensions of their desktops. Networked control systems allow for remote monitoring from a single location and from the AV service provider’s service center.
