The success of this space is driven by its need for flexibility to host a variety of functions including training, conferences, and events. As such, the space was designed to be divisible in a number of different scenarios. The AV systems were designed with broadcast, multimedia presentation systems, and video/audio conferencing systems that allowed up to three independent conference/meeting rooms or could be seamlessly integrated when used in larger configurations.
To accommodate the ease of changing room configurations, the conference space design used operable partitions. Our acoustics team established privacy criteria for the proposed partitions then reviewed performance requirements and assisted in selection of systems that would allow for both privacy, and ensure the high-level separation required for a proper broadcast environment. Additionally, our team reviewed the mechanical systems that serve the space to prevent adverse noise and vibration.
