Matthew-Schaeffler

Matthew has five years experience as an acoustical consultant with particular expertise in the design of commercial, residential, and mixed-use facilities. He has provided consulting services for facilities of all sizes ranging from 25,000 square foot renovations to two million square foot towers.

Matt constantly seeks to improve his knowledge of architectural acoustics, vibration analysis, and mechanical sound control. He is extremely proficient in acoustical analysis and modeling software with expertise in CATT Acoustic, CadnaA, AutoCAD, MatLAB, and TNM.

While attending the University of Hartford, Matt earned the Robert Bradford Newman Medal for Merit in Architectural Acoustics. Additionally, the results of his senior project, “The Investigation of the Just Noticeable Difference in the Clarity Index for Music, C80” were presented at the 2009 Acoustical Society of America Meeting.
