Warburg Pincus LLC’s new New York office includes general and executive office space, a café and lounge, small and medium conference rooms on all levels, a full floor conference center with divisible multipurpose rooms, and an executive Boardroom.
Our acoustical consultants began by measuring the speech privacy and noise levels in the existing space. We then reviewed the architect’s design for the proposed partitions and tested the partitions once installed to ensure suitable background noise levels. Sound-masking was added outside of some of the conference rooms for additional speech privacy. We also provided recommendations for the HVAC systems in the new space.
All conference rooms were outfitted with audio conferencing, displays, ceiling speakers, integrated touch panel control systems, DVD players, and tabletop computer connections. Select rooms included video conferencing systems for calls over IP or ISDN and wall mounted HD cameras. The Multipurpose room was designed with flexible functionality; Each individual space has videoconferencing systems and HD cameras as well as wireless microphone system, ceiling speakers, and assisted listening devices.
The Executive Boardroom includes videoconferencing with options for recording and playback, wall display, and built in table displays which can be recessed and boxes for laptop connections. Both wired and wireless microphones were added for complete coverage, and a wireless IP touch screen device allows for easy control of the systems by the room occupants or remotely.
