The School of Forest Resources is one of the most highly regarded programs of its kind. Their new facility includes state-of-the-art research and teaching laboratories, classrooms, a 90-person auditorium, and a central atrium for informal meetings.
As a goal of the project was to be able to meet the technology demands for at least the next 10 years, our team worked closely with the architect and the school to determine infrastucture requirements for both the AV and IT systems including voice and data backbone pathway, conduit and cable tray installations, and MEP coordination and inter-room connectivity.
All teaching spaces have multimedia presentation capabilities including display screens, instructor microphones, computer connectivity, and sound system support.
Our acoustics team was responsible for detailing vibration and noise criteria for the entire space–a particular issue because of sensitive lab equipment.
