Cerami provided acoustical, audiovisual, IT and security consulting services for the renovation of the French Institute Alliance Française’s townhouse which accommodates up to 1,800 students of french culture. The large renovation affected all spaces at the center including conference centers, a great room, and classrooms.
In the Institute’s standard classrooms, the goal of our consultants was to give instructors the ability to stream video of live or broadcast events, and provide them with smart capabilities. Our audiovisual and IT /Security team worked closely together on the design and specification of IT/Voice/Data infrastructure to support the classroom and conference center. Equipment room racks were detailed to enable simple control of the IT and AV systems.
The new security system that we designed included intrusion detection and alarm notification, surveillance cameras, access control systems, door hardware, and a monitoring system that utilizes digital video recording technology.
