This 592-room luxury hotel overlooks the Sea of Marmara and is consistently voted in the top three best hotels in Europe by Business Travelers Magazine. But to further maintain their reputation as one of the top business hotels in Europe, it was necessary to renovate and update the facilities to include state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities for their patrons. Cerami was asked to provide audiovisual design services for this world-renowned hotel’s conference spaces and casino.

Our focus when designing the conference space was providing flexibility and adaptability, as it would be used for a wide range of events, and thus, accommodate a wide range of functions. We also wanted to allow the audiovisual systems we installed to be able to easily incorporate new technologies and stay current. Because the large conference space is divisible into several smaller rooms, allowing several functions to take place simultaneously, we designed each section to have its own control room. From there, they would be able to control each respective video and film projection system. To also accommodate the hotel’s aesthetics as well, a motorized chandelier that can be raised in and out of the projection’s path was installed in each section of the conference space.

For the casino, we provided a complete video surveillance system containing concealed cameras and panic buttons. This system was very elaborate, as the people monitoring the casino floor had to be able to see each table clearly.
