Cerami & Associates evaluated the proposed building facade construction, assessing its sound barrier characteristics and ability to mitigate vehicular noise intrusion. We prepared recommendations for the resilient underlayment required to reduce transmission of footfall noise from the lobby to vertically adjacent office space.
Our team also played an integral role in the acoustical development of the typical floor air handlers and worked with the contractor and project mechanical engineer to ensure that acoustical and design goals were achieved.
Audiovisual systems for the new Tower serve a 300-seat assembly hall, two 50 person boardrooms, and a 25-person conference room. Technology specified included projection systems for all types of media, wireless control systems to allow activation of equipment from any point in the room, and an interactive speech reinforcement system in the assembly hall.
As space in the projection room was limited, we provided custom designs for a system on a motorized lift system that would allow various projectors to move into the exact position needed for optimal display at the push of a button.
